Instead of improving the chats, there is a lack of improvement because why is big pop up ad bubbles a better feature than actually fixing the main issue with every forum which is lack of moderation?

Not too long ago, someone was spamming a literal suicide video as a gif and it took over an hour from when the report of the person was sent for even anything to happen. Infact, they left by themselves before anyone showed up.

If ads are needed to be placed, put them somewhere else instead of in the chats, noone wants them and they lead to annoyance

How much do you think it costs to maintain development, 24/7 runtime with millions of yearly users, minimum response of several people when things go haywire, pay to keep legalize updated, pay for bandwidth and routine maintenance like upgrades and tweaks, pay for multiple people supporting the entire operation?

If you can pay a monthly chatting fee, maybe the eViL bLuE bOxEs can go away. Or, you could go elsewhere where your information is catalogued and sold to who knows where, with vendors storing your info in order to build a targeted profile from data tracked via cookies, supercookies and emails?

Instead of complaining about something like this while running some 15 catfish/whatever profiles you have (you obviously have an endless amount of time), why don't you become a global moderator and assist us in this area? Sounds to me like a simple solution which you can contribute to. Forum is different from chat, by the way. We have no lack of moderation in forums.

Moderators are volunteers with personal lives and jobs. Join the team and see how the whole thing works.

You know what's most annoying? Entitlement and wilful ignorance.

1) Replying flipantly isn't exactly helpful in getting your point across.
1a) I do not have all the time in the world, I am a human being, I am a student, I work, I go on occassionally at night due to insomnia, accounts are made and forgotten due to varying reasons such as rp or forgetting I made one.

2) Under the guidelines you put in the applications, I can't apply.
2a) Thus, I can't ever help, I can only throw a vocal speech out in hopes an improvement in moderation can be achieved somehow.

3) I understand moderation does take people and personal lives should prioritise over this, same goes with site ad bubbles as running things takes money.
3a) But then why do people (Some regulars) who want to apply not end up being able to? Considering how much information is needed on the person's private contacting, it might be an issue and cut down how many people can genuinely help.

I hold an amount of respect for your strict moderation when you do show up in the chats, so please don't let that slip regardless and thank you for taking the time to respond and even considering me a possible candidate for volunteer moderation
