Yeah, any Aussie players in the NFL or NBA that used to play football in Australia are referred to as "playing rugby in Australia" no matter which actual football code they played haha
To make it even more confusing, in Australia actual Rugby is the least popular football, Rugby League is apparently different enough to be a different sport, and they don't like being called Rugby, Australian Rules has nothing at all in common with Rugby (but full contact tackling without pads is enough for American football to think they're the same), and European Football or Soccer is popular as a junior sport and at the international level but doesn't have as much money and support in the domestic pro leagues as the AFL and NRL do.
And then everyone plays cricket or tennis or surfs in the summer, because the footy codes are all winter sports
That’s still a lot more than most people.
This week it’s going to be too hot to ride them.
But I’ll be at the farm most of tomorrow. Trying to keep them cool.
When we did our UK trip the AirBnB we stayed at in Nottingham was a riding school, so we got to pat and feed the horses in the evening and first thing the next morning, was lovely
