For many things it’s actually more effective to have a physical book. Easier to refer back to different sections, mark things, and so on

Plus a lot of these are literary and political philosophy works that are easier to read (for me at least) in physical form. And you can’t have enough copies in the library for the whole class to check out at once

Seems like kindle will be the future for school books. Though that does kill the second hand market
