You're outsourcing self-worth, which can't be good for how you're looking to define your identity. People will validate you or invalidate you based on their own cultures, values, beliefs, prowess in logic processing—you'll never be on the same page with everybody, especially in a global scale. There will never be a shortage of opinions from supportive to curiosity, to extremes on either end of the spectrum.
Do your thing, lead your life however you feel it's necessary to support your goals and seek support from like-minded individuals. The most important thing is realizing that there's no universal truth across countless cultures.
Seeking opinions of strangers in an anonymous environment will either draw all positive responses or a mixed bag with nonsense noise mixed in. The noise portion will only get you confused or cause self-doubt.
