Its a good hangover food for sure. But in Canada we just eat it anytime. All restaurant chains make a poutine. McDonalds even does.
They actually make some good whiskys but just the regular wisers is not great.

No. Its a Canada only thing. Although there's a McDonalds in Chicago that makes International dishes, so maybe its there sometimes.
