Also. Stan. The world sucks so fucking much. I think the plastic recycling in the UK isn't super high either. I can't remember the stat but it's like maybe 40% of plastic that gets set to recycling centers is actually recycled. Or something. Probably made up that number. But meh

There's the Great Pacific Garbage Patch too which is horrific.
