I remember a speed skating crash once. Maybe not Olympics though
Like regular speed skating? I don't remember any crashes there, just short track. Tho I guess they fall down on their own sometimes
And I've never seen a second of speed skating outside the Olympics lol

Crashes are very common in short track, not so much in regular speed skating so I was surprised

Did you ever see that video of the skater who just zoomed through the first lap rather than staying with the group like usual? Then they caught up to the group and skated with them but they were a whole lap ahead
Short track is a, y'know, shorter track and it's usually with a bunch of people all skating at once instead of just two at a time like regular speed skating. If they're wearing helmets and knocking into each other, it's short track. If they just have the little skullcap hood things and are by themselves, it's regular speed skating
Tho I guess there is a mass start in regular speed skating now?
