I’m thinking of getting virtua fighter 5 revo, not a fan of the meter driven world of fighter games we are in right now
What are your favs?
VF5 Revo is really good. I'm a big VF fan going back to the Sega Saturn days. It's still a very good core fundamental fighting game, plenty of variety in gameplay but not mechanically bloated like a lot of modern fighters seem to be.
I am a big fan of Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur, King of Fighters, Fatal Fury. Hell, i can just go on! All time faces though have to be Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Capcom Vs SNK 2 & Project Justice.

The combat got so boring about half way through though its very basic
i agree on combat
i think i got burnt out on the third game (it felt so long), but i was really looking forward to the 4th one when it came out. I think they tried to please too many different types of gamers

I think I dare say it's much worse than what the internet usually makes it to be. The general consensus is that the writing is catastrophic and bad at all times, which I agree it is. But they often overlook how boring and mid the gameplay loop is... Combat is terrible, choices are non consequential, conversations are empty of option and shallow. I was excited to play action dragon age and found myself hating it more and more till I just stoped it altogether...
How is Project Zomboid? woudl it be hard for someone with hearing problems? (almost deaf)
Every sound in the game has a visual feedback, there are some disability options as well. I like the game, it's very creative and much older than most of the users here probably. I recommend it.

It can be a bit demanding due to the huge amount of zombies on screen. But it's a cool game, especially with friends.
oh no I play alone most of the time. last games I played with friends are Darktide, Baldur's gate 3 and Conan Exiles
Just finished Crime Boss: Rockay City! Average shooter, Payday clone but a lot of stupid fun in it's roguelike singleplayer mode. Amazing celebrity voice cast that kept me grinning! RIP Michael Madsen & Chuck Norris.
