Unpopular Opinions

Alright I know i'm gonna get so much shit for this but let's go.

I do not like A24 films. I've at least thought the more popular ones were "okay" not super great, but I didn't understand the hype for them. But every time I put one on I never enjoy it. I find so many of them to be pretentious, difficult to follow, and straight up boring. And i've tried watching a lot of them. I gave a lot of chances to many films. It doesn't help they keep releasing the same types of films over and over again. If any films get a lot of good reviews I'll still probably try to watch it, but I just haven't enjoyed much of anything from them.

And Hereditary and Midsommar were just tolerable to me. I didn't understand the hype for them. They were at least worth a watch once, but people who hold them up as "one of the best movies ever" like... idek.
 
People with a wanna be “dom” online persona or who call themselves a dom are repulsive. They all try so hard to come across as original, mysterious “alpha males,” yet somehow post the exact same recycled content and use “good girl” with the enthusiasm of someone praising a golden retriever. The collective secondhand embarrassment is unbearable.

I fucking love this!! I myself tried playing that role for a while and I couldn’t do it! Felt too disrespectful to be honest.
I have no problem with two people who have an honest love of that type relationship, but for me personally trying to do something that wasn’t natural felt very fake and uncomfortable.
There are a lot that create that profile and I think most of them are full of shit and just trying to bait women in. I’m just gonna be me from now on. I can live with that.
