I mean, in Legends there is an equine species, one of them was a pilot in the Rougue or Wraith Squadron of the New Republic, so I'd fit right into the Galaxy far far away

People chase novelty, status, image during their entire young lives, then when they get old, they talk about how they regret not settling for what they actually needed and what is stable, how they ridiculed, mocked what wasn't fitting their conceited ideals. But they don't get a do-over with life in old age—they're stuck with regrets and a busted ego—because old trends die and new trends give no fucks about old people.
