Gardening Do you have a garden? Post pics! v.2020

You don't want too many flowers on a plant that doesn't have enough leaves to support them all.

I culled a bunch on my peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers in the beginning. Culled all cucumber flowers right near the ground yesterday too.

You gotta make that decision based on available sun, time left in the season, plant size, etc... Scary decisions. lol

They're all going to die if two leaves have to support 50 fruits. lol
It would be like a few wind power generators trying to power up an a tire city. ;)

Son. I have lots of leaves. And that angle might be deceiving, the blooms aren’t that close together. On a side note, I’m looking for a pretty little thang to tend to my garden if you’re interested. ;)

I used to grow SO MUCH at my old house with a MASSIVE yard but then moved to a much nicer place with much smaller outdoor areas so not the most land to play with any more! Only the lemon tree I've been so grateful for, one corner of backyard grass became a mint patch and then there was a random but welcomed tendril of a pumpkin vine that decided to come over the fence from my neighbour's yard, take over my grass and give me 4 great sized and tasting pumpkins before I had to hack it and mow the lawn! Shouldn't matter how small the space, where there's a will there's (a damn fresh and tasty) way!
