How quickly do you assess whether a person is the compatibility level you seek, and to be pursued for a romantic relationship?
And what attributes / actions make that clear to you?

I believe it’s easy to rule people out fairly quickly, but to actually determine whether someone has potential for more can take time. Some of the factors that have come into play in the past are a willingness to be a little bit vulnerable and give me depth rather than surface level conversation. Stepping outside of their comfort zone for you, but still being true to themselves is also very meaningful. And when you can see that they are putting as much effort into the relationship as you are, there’s a balance that feels really good.

Have never heard of this. But is a bigish debate here in Australia at the moment because a brand has started running a new add that is trying to make it les taboo to talk about periods and asks why it is so wrong to show period blood.
I think it’s great to normalise it more, it is a fact of female life why should it be whispered about ? Don’t think they have to go so far as to show period blood tho. But showing that not all of have pain free easy periods is a good thing.

I had my period...not really. What? No! Why the fuck is that a thing? Now that I think about it, I may have celebrated by being extra bitchy. In my opinion, I don’t feel like it’s taboo to discuss openly. Not sure if that’s just me or if it’s just one of those topics that has changed and become more accepted changed over time.

Well, we don't refer to it as "the curse" anymore, so it's definitely improved.

I second Jinxy's reply in every way. I also add to that -- had I heard of it, I may have participated in giving a friend a menstrual cup...every time I buy a new one, I buy one for a friend to try. Can't talk highly enough about them...they've changed my periods considerably and have allowed for some of the most amazing period sex.


Why is there a "National Day" for everything these days?
