Us in europe have a similar dynamic. Under the flag of "truth"- as stated to be opposed to political correctness- politicians in germany, the netherlands, austria or England are stating things that even are contrary to the Country's own constitution and still get away with it...
Yes, Rudeman in germany under the same conditions and accusations would have been investigated sooner. But since investigations sometimes even turn out to be rigged.. the scary thing is that these people somehow end up keeping their Position, no matter the actually proof against it...

The difference maybe.. you get caught ONCE openly lying on facts as a politician of parliament in europe.. you get excluded if truly proven so.

Very well said . You are correct in saying something has been going on a long time. But our political system moves slowly partly because of how our Constitution laws out the three branches of government's powers , it's hard to impeach a preside.nt and it's meant to be. But also because politicians of both parties ignored the fact that their first loyalty should be to the people and the their second to the Constitution they took an oath to uphold . They are more focused on their parties security than either of those and that's not how it should be. But it's what we are stuck with.
Worst thing ive read recently was articles about people starting to call for hillary to run for El Comandante again though. Because Donald drumpf possibly only won by her running in the First place.. lets face it.. she is as credible as he is, looking into her history. It almost seems like the people forgot to elect someone who hasnt forgotten that he/she is elected to actually - like REALLY!! - represent the people.. or at least common ground between people.. i mean everyone, after being elected.. seems to forget the middle ground.. and also decides on which kinda people actually elected them, forgetting about all middle ground promises...
