However, most are divided into camps of Democrats or Republicans (They are represented by the colour Blue or Red). Thus, all the anger, all the rhetorics, all the arguments are very based deep into emotions.
When the debate of a nation is driven only by emotions, all get into irrational territory than logical.

For certain group of people MAGA makes sense. They think America has lost it's greatness for many reasons. Immigration ( of non white people) legal gay marriage, legal abortion are some of the basic ones . But they also feel they have lost their place in America or are losing it to others. So MAGA represents to them a halt or reversal of their losses of the culture wars and a regaining of what they think is their rightful place . It isn't logical as Pinguu said but it is how they feel. Most of these people are blue collar or come from poorer states that didn't feel the immediate results of our economy getting stronger . That plays a part as well. Now why they think a rich one percenter is their messiah I do not know.

I'd like to take a moment to thank all of the contributors to this thread. I had no idea how much passion it would drive or vent.
I must apologize, for I assumed only Americans would have a voice in this domestic topic. I do not really care what citizens of
foreign states have for this thread, but must welcome such input. Once again, I thank you all.
In the United States of America we have civil liberties and rights under the Constitution. Some inalienable, God given rights,
that citizens of foreign nations do not have to pleasure to have, and appreciate, and I think that is very unfortunate. In America,
the accused are innocent until proven guilty.
I get it. Americans are obnoxious, disrespectful, and quite idiotic. Right? Right.
But the fact that the USA is a free society, being an asshole is not a crime.
Read the Bill of Rights (the first ten Amendments to the Constitution).
Freedom of speech, and religion. The right to bear arms.....
I apologize for my attitude, as I made a mistake by thinking only Americans would contribute to this thread.
