My life got better when I realized I didn't have to be nice. Nice got me ran over, stressed out and disrespected. I'm not nice. I'm a good person. There is a difference.
People think I am not paying attention, but I see it all. The shade, the switch ups, the weird energy, the competition, I just don't waste my peace on it. No arguments, no explaining myself. I fall back, protect my space and by the time they realize it... I've already closed that door for good.
