It’s a site wide outage, so a new member account won’t help. It’ll be temporary (at least I hope), so I’d either recommend just chatting in convos on the forum side or logging in as a guest over there.

It’s site wide. You can log in as a guest if you want, but otherwise probably stick to forums until it’s fixed. Mods can’t even log in so it’s not pretty rn

Makes sense I guess? Or at least a poor connection to whatever software they use to authenticate users, assuming the error message is actually related to the problem lol

Yeah probably. That might make it easier to fix the issue too with no one else online. Thankfully I haven’t seen anything too bad yet though.

Yeah, I’m already seeing stuff in the chat rooms that should’ve been taken down by mods, but simply aren’t bc none are in there.

Looks like the chat site crashed again, getting another 524 error. Does anyone know what the root cause of this is or why we’re getting it back to back days?

Yeah, let’s hope they fix it swiftly! There is the conversation feature on this side of the site, but I’m not too experienced with it personally to know what it’s like compared to normal chat

I’m mostly concerned for people trying to reset their accounts because of the past Error 500 threads saying to do so. Those were for individuals getting the error, not for the server-wide error

This error is sitewide right now, so I don’t think there’s really anything you can do rn until it’s fixed.
