Music 90s-2000s Throwbacks

Isn't it amazing how music transports us to a whole other time in our lives? Before all these responsibilities, when life had other kinds of stressors, ones that we thought were so important but weren't. Before we had to grow up, really grow up, have our hearts broken and mended, figure out what love meant, what sex was like. When friends were a phone call away as soon as you got home from school, when how long you talked for was someone else's annoying task. Moments are so vivid. So many firsts It makes me want to go back in time, relive the good moments, take on the bad ones more gracefully and wisely.

And how I wished I was so effortlessly gorgeous as Shania. Or be a Faith Hill to a Tim McGraw.

With an intro like that to country music, you couldn't help but love it. It wasn’t just the music. It was the earnestness of how their songs portrayed love and how their marriage showed it.

Faith Hill singing Little Drummer Boy is my favorite Christmas song. I loop it lol
