Sadly, there is no rational explanation for this phenomenon. This is the online world and I guess it's easier. Normally, the excuse is something like,"well, this is an adult forum/chat so what do you expect." (not my words). There is no logic to it. True communication is becoming a lost art. It is not limited to the men but obviously, the percentage is very high. Like Lakeside says, you quickly learn to "ignore" without even thinking about it. I won't try to apologize for all men. Most don't think they need to anyway and so be it. I will just continue to make a small attempt to show that not all of us are the same.
Having said all that, I'm not some saint or white knight. I have chat fun with the best of them but like all other interactions with the opposite sex, it is mutual and consentual. And therefore, more enjoyable. Cheers and wishing you good chatting.
