Lately I've had performance issues and while my wife is very supportive and encouraging, I can't seem to get out of my own head when it comes time to do the deed and that causes problems across the board. If anyone has any advice, tips, or something worth reading I would greatly appreciate it.

Are you averse to using Vitamin V? A little of that and it doesn’t matter what is going on with the big head - the little head is ready to jackhammer concrete!

I've been trying various other herb supplements. Wouldn't say I'm against V though if it comes down to it

If its definitely mental, I'd recommend viagra for a bit. Give her a few good orgasms, and you'll feel better. You won't feel as though you're disappointing her every time you can't perform. Cock rings would be worth a shot too as they'll help you maintain a hard-on, the issue with those is you have to get hard first.

It could be a physical issue. If you bent it recently you could have tissue damage (consult a doctor) or it could be low testosterone levels. Make sure you're getting enough sleep. Eating enough calories (good ones ideally Carbs/Protein/Healthy Fats) and exercising regularly. Even if it isn't a low testosterone issue, you'll feel better about yourself. That will help if its a mental issue too.

Lastly, don't be afraid to talk to a mental health specialist about your issues. There's a bullshit stigma around men having to be avoidant when it comes to talking about our mental health but its dumb, and strength doesn't come from what you hold in, it comes from being open about your problems and getting the right help when you need it.

Thank you for all the great info and I'm actually starting going to the gym starting tomorrow so hopefully that will help with confidence like you said. And it definitely wouldn't hurt to clean up my diet either, way too many gas station taquitos on the way to work lately lol.

How would I go about getting viagra anyway? I assume I would have to talk to a doctor at least

If you want any fitness or dietary advice HMU

Viagra should be available over the counter at a drug store, but I can't say for sure that that's definitely the case where you live. If you can't find any locally, ask your doc for a perscription. Viagra is real safe, so it should be easy to find or get prescribed.

Is there any particular type of exercise you recommend? I've read that both cardio and weightlifting can be good to help my issues.

I'm going to try just diet and working out for now, see if I can't get better on my own before I turn to pills

Whatever you feel is best for you. If you want to lose weight (I'm assuming that's the issue), prioritize cardio and make sure you are eating right (not crash dieting). Try and focus on being active and walking as much as possible (10k steps on a flat terrain is pretty reasonable to do and equates to ~300 calories, which should be most of one of your daily meals burned off). If you can cylce or run, fantastic! If you can't that's ok. Walking a reasonable distance per day is underrated.

Weights burn calories too but not at as high of a rate. My steps per day burn more than when I do resistance training for an hour (and I work an office job). If you lift weights you will build muscle, but it will be covered by fat, so focus on losing excess weight first and building muscle can be a later phase.

Cardio will also help with your heart health and circulation which will help you last longer in the bedroom and help with bloodflow to your dick.

Last bit of advise: Being in a calorie deficit (losing weight) will naturally reduce your sex-drive. So if you're still having issues, it will be for that reason. Remember that and don't give up. If done right, you will be surprised how fast you can lose weight. To counter this issue, I would again recommend the viagra but its your body and you do what you feel is best for you. Just saying there's nothing wrong with it and its totally safe. The worst symptom you'll get is a headache.

Sounds like cardio will definitely be the way to go for me for now then, do have a fair bit of excess fluff I could stand to lose. That and being taller guy, I've been told that I need to work to keep my heart healthier than a more regular sized person, not sure how true that is though.

I'll look into viagra and see how much my local drug stores would want

I'm 6'4" and never heard that before. I'll have to look into that.

Best of luck with it man.
