Any NORMAL people?

People say so much more to each other nowadays and not necessarily all at once, because the limitations no longer exist. There's nothing special about long paper letters. You can exchange long emails or private conversions via messengers and websites such as this one all day long. Every day. And a lot of it is taking place in private.

This is a special stanism because it offers a rare, and I think genuine, glimpse behind the brusque mask and illuminates - sadly, probably only briefly - a deeply thoughtful and nuanced persona with whom, on this, I wholeheartedly agree. This is why I am a Stan stan.

I was hoping for the same but, it really seems that "normal" clean chat is not something to be found here lol

I have to say that my experience is different. Yes, there is a lot of sex talk but in the forum games that is mostly just flirtation and jokes that raise a dirty laugh: which is, at least in my experience, also common in face to face social interactions. Talking to those same people privately may also focus on sex, obviously, but very often I find a nice, enjoyable, wide ranging set of mutual interest and conversation can be found. Finally, in the forums on hobbies and specific interests I can engage in conversations that are varied and hardly ever sexual.

So I think it is worth persevering to find and engage with the 'normal' people who make up most of those here.

First what is normal. Aren't the ones that are seeking for something real and something deep the not normal ones these days. Fskeness is everywhere you look. So I don't think I am normal. I don't want to be normal. I would prefer to be special. I love a conversation and deep inside I am always try to find the real one behind a mask. But I also love to be naughty some times. I love to write erotic stories for others. But even if most are fake here, don't think it's the right word, most are unsecure to show their true self here. But that's ok. I always prefer making love than just having sex. Just my thoughts

I think it is very difficult to show one's true self in writing: it inevitably leaves time to reflect and present an aspect of oneself, while in face to face interaction facial expressions, tone of voice, body language, all add to - or sometimes confuse or even obscure - the spoken communication. Also, in writing one is not seen - and even in pictures, not seen so 3-dimensionally, so can select a favourable angle or a good picture present, to show a good aspect or to hide a defect. I quite like this, in fact, because I find face to face social interaction often confusing and tiring - and I have a skin condition that many find disfiguring that I can hide behind the relative invisibility here.
