Anyone else love parrots

My biggest hobby of all time is probably by birds XD. It's hard to find others into them and I'm not sure why. They talk back unlike other house pets, interact more, are crazy intelligent and live longer so your not replacing your loved one so often. All my breeders are tame/semi tame and all free fly when not "nesting." Anyway that's my hobby and probably no one else's :eek::oops:

My ex brother in law has an African Grey called Kilo. He loves calling all visitors a cunt but is a very sweet boy. Loves kids and is very social. My youngest when little always wanted him to sit on her shoulder as she adores him :)
 
Lmfao have u ever seen the, I think ruby xxx on YouTube, she's a ag from the uk and calls everyone names :p:D hilarious. A few of mine say cuss words but they came that way and taught others lmfao. I'll never blame myself for that :cool:

Lmfao one says wtf, fkin bitch, g damnit...im sure there is more lmfao i also have a supposedly about 7 year old moluccan too ive had for about a year now, came previously abused who has never tried to say more than hi but we have our own "talk" in whistles or her screaming lmfao:rolleyes::eek:
 
What got me with Kilo, is just how gentle he is. When he comes to sit on your shoulder ( and he really needs to trust you when he does) he'll give you a soft peck on the cheek like a kiss, as if to ask if it's ok. It's why Jenna fell in love with him. Even if he swears like a sailor lol

Lmfao yes but toos are unpredictable, especially previously abused ones which both my toos are and 1 I never put my face near, the other I gage her current mood b4 kisses haha. I've not owned an ag b4 but have been around many, they seem to be more chill than other big birds for the most part.
 
So parrots are actually one of my hobbies too! I am a parrot lady/bird lady and they are my animals of choice. I am obsessed with parrots. I used to have an umbrella cockatoo and they've become my favorite birds. I'd love to get into a position to have another one again. I currently have n African grey. His name is Rocky.

Rocky is a handsome chap :)
 
That's definitely a beautiful bird. I have an umbrella and a moluccan too. Only thing I've found about too's are that are fkin unpredictable with attitude lmfao but then again both of mine are previously abused rescues. One likes to chase me like a fkin ankle biter dog and she barks like one while doing so :eek:.

It's nice you rescued some cockatoos, they are the most rehomed birds because of how crazy they are and loud. I love them so much. I used to work at a parrot store and I volunteered at a parrot rescue for a while. Your birds sound so cute.
 
Oooo yes I have a few rescues and I so get that about rehomed, no one thinks that cute lil baby bird will be something that can literally cause ear damage haha.

Lol don't mind his or her dirty egg, I have a cockatiel hen laying on them and she's currently hatching her own babies lol. The suns have never incubated their eggs well enough to do anything as they are just now 4 1/2 and learning lol so I'm pulling a surrogate mom out :D. I'm gonna have to handfeed her babies after about 4 days with her (every 3-4 hours around the clock for a few weeks) so they don't make the eggs too dirty and kill them or make her lose interest in the eggs. It's fun being a breeder...no seriously it is so much fun and rewarding. I'm keeping baby fruitloop :D

I bet it's really rewarding. I remember hand feeding babies when I worked at a parrot store. Miss the babies!
