Architecture

wow that’s blown my mind, love stuff like that. Great illusion, even the arched pillow makes the ceiling look arched

When you went Rome did you check out Micheal angelos paintings on the chapel ceiling in Vatican City?
Unreal, so talented
Yea was a bit surreal, even more so when ya think like the Chapel they basically painted them upside down. Made me dizzy just looking let alone painting.

I’d love play with this picture, I’ve been taking pictures of churches, cathedrals, abbeys, ruins, graveyards….
Try black and white Heidi and a moody sky
Might grip you more, like souls are wandering and whispers in your ears….
Pictures talk you know 😁

Great shot nonetheless
Full disclosure...
I need a new phone. Legit cannot "play" with any visuals lately. 🤭 I will have to give up my nudes to make room for this thread. I got you Boo and your moody hue. 🔥 hashtag Photo Language, of course.

Didn't know this thread existed. I have tons of photos of all historical sites in the south of Ireland and a few European countries as well

How low is that letter box to 🧐

I don’t normally take pictures of buildings as I like to try to get as far away from civilisation as possible but have found a few …

This is Wilders Folly about 10 mins away from me and it’s a love story…
Locally, it's also known as The Pigeon Tower, and was built in 1769 by the Reverend Henry Wilder. His aim, on building this red-bricked tower, was that his love, Joan Thoyts, could look out of her window and see it, and be reminded of him. He would be able to see it, too, to be reminded of her. Awww.

You can walk into the folly and see some old things still inside ……I saw an old Stella Artois can 🤭

Here is some buildings from Dubrovnik old town in Croatia….can’t believe it’s been a year and a half since I went there
