Are some Usernames banned?

Hey Team,
I tried using a new guest username that I've never used but it said my client or account has been blocked due to illegal uploads. I switched back to a name I normally used and I got through fine, I just want to understand if this is anything to be worry about as I've not uploaded any content like that. Thanks!
 
If someone used some guest login and has been banned while using it, that login username will be banned, no matter who logs in under it.

It's best to use a registered login.
 
Hi, i've just had a similar issue which worried me too. Is this a new thing with the new site? I'll make sure I use my registered username from now. Thanks for the info
 
I'm facing a ban issue with my Gl account... It got banned for a careless word used on a chatroom wall. Now my ISP and username has been banned... Filed a letter unban request here yesterday. But no result yet

Can you unban me plz
 
There's no appeal by you. No idea what to look for. "Brown_slut" returns no results in Ban Appeals. Your email brings up an appeal from 2.5yrs ago.

Hey, i had the same issue. only mine says it’s banned and that uploads are sent to authorities. But i didnt upload anything… Very confused and nervous i didnt do anything. is that for me or for the person who got banned under that account
 
Y'all can't barge into someone else's issue posts and hijack them with your own issues. It's impossible for us to deal with. A huge, confusing mess.
