Icebreaker Game Are you...?

Wrapped up in bed, catching up on news and messaging friends, before I go to the gym.

Are you realizing you are in the 'are you' thread?

I wish I could, but they wont let me bring anything in. :(

Are you exploring that part with another person, or keeping it to yourself?

That sucks. But it's a good sign that they take this seriously.

Keeping to myself, of course. As usual. Lol.

Are you ready mentally?

Yes, Ive been through this before. Just a little sad.

Are you ever going to share your inner explorations with someone? It helps.

That's a definite no. Some things are best when freely and authentically explored individually and privately, especially when all the change must come from oneself.

Are you hopeful even if sad?

Wise words regarding change.

Yes I am hopeful for sure. I hope that she can look inside and make the changes for herself.

Are you making progress?

Overall, yes. I'm resisting and my fear causes me to stop, but the times I am courageous, I am grateful to myself and use those times as evidence that I can do it.

Are you feeling helpful in how you're supporting her process?

I am. Currently focusing on getting her into a therapeutic arts school. She needs a fresh place and start. And she needs to hear that she is loved and she is a good kid.

Are you uncomfortable at the questions I ask?

That is awesome!

No. I'm sure someone here will relate to what I say and I hope it will somehow help them in whatever they themselves are dealing with, and that they'll champion themselves forward.

Are you?

Not at all. I’ve always been pretty open about things.

Are you an introvert or just feeling protective about your journey?

Both. I'm quite introverted and would rather solve whatever I deal with, myself.
Also, like I mentioned, the change can only come from me. There is no need to burden someone else. Some things shared can and do subtly shift perceptions and behaviors in relationships, be it those with friends or partners. And some of those shifts are not for the better.

Are you ready to say "See ya next time, Thalassa!"? Lol.
