Eclipse is just an object being shadowed by another and for a very brief period of time. It's meaningless and has no impact on life. It's literally just a temporary shadow.

Planets only have magnetic fields and gravity, sometimes spitting out objects which become space debris. There's nothing more to it. Anything more than that is anti-science (pseudoscience).
