Asexuality is extremely rare and not many people understand it. As the photo states, asexual people do not experience sexual attraction. There are people who do not even like the idea of sex and there are people who will have sex to please their partner but hate the entire act and feel terrible the next day.

Very few asexuals, or aces, are that way because of trauma, most aces never ever had sexual attraction.

Personally, i may fool around on cam and stuff like that, but... real sex, with a real person, don't attract me at all. :/
Camming is more of a way to feel better about my body, than to feel any kind of sexual pleasure.

I have been asexual for most of my life not by choice. I will admit that I do have sexual desires like everyone else but never had the opportunity to demonstrate it.

I found the exact term lately. I'm autochorissexual. :)

  • Identify as asexual and feel no sexual attraction to people, but enjoy masturbating, are aroused by sexually explicit content, and/or have sexual fantasies.

I definitely feel sexual attraction. An emotional bond or connection definitely helps make sex better in my opinion. I agree with you @Sarah_100 that having someone else tell you how sexy you, show you sexually explicit content, and explore sexual fantasis are a definite turn on and can help with masturbation. I also find having a partner be pleased gives me a lot of pleasure.

Guess I'm not that unique in being sexual, but this was in the transgender and other identities section so thought I would give my two cents.

There are lots of asexuals who enjoy masturbation, but don't wish to be with partners and it's just as valid. Nice to know there's a word for this. I feel like this sometimes.

The spectrum of asexuality is very, very large. You can hate sex in all its forms, just dislike it a bit or a lot, like it only when you're deeply in love.

Personally, I've never been sexually attracted to anyone. That's why i'm a virgin. (I've never done anything to do/be like everybody.)
But i have sexual fantasies, i watch hentai and masturbate. But it's still not very often. Like, maybe once or twice a month. And it's not rare that i don't masturbate for two or three months in a row. I definitely don't need it. It's just for fun.

I have always felt like a freak. Still kinda do. That's why i was happy to find this term of autochorissexual who defines me perfectly. :)

The full definition below :

The term autochorissexual was coined by Anthony Bogaert and is derived from ‘autochoris’ which translates to 'identity-less sexuality’. It is a subset of asexuality which is defined as: a disconnection between oneself and a sexual target/object of arousal; may involve sexual fantasies or arousal in response to erotica or pornography, but lacking any desire to be a participant in the sexual activities therein.

Autochorissexuals are known to:

  • Get aroused by sexual content but not actually want to engage in any sexual activities
  • Masturbate, but are neutral or repulsed by the idea of having sex with another person.
  • Fantasize about sex, but envision people other than themselves, and/or view it in third person, as though they're watching it on TV, rather than imagining it in first person, through their own eyes.
  • Predominantly or entirely fantasize about fictional characters or celebrities, rather than people in real life they know.
  • Identify as asexual and feel no sexual attraction to people, but enjoy masturbating, are aroused by sexually explicit content, and/or have sexual fantasies.
While this mostly occurs in asexual people, an analogous feeling may occur in aromantic people with romantic fantasies instead of sexual ones.

@Sarah_100 you shouldnt feel like a freak. Everyone is different and unique. Glad you found a term to define yourself. There are terms that pretty well defines me. Acting on it when I knew what I was helped me. Are you going to do anything with the knowledge that there are plenty of others like you?
