Maybe not "most" but, last winter I was out walking with my wife, hands in jacket pockets and her arm hooked around mine.
Such a romantic scene, right?
Then I tripped on a crack in the sidewalk and went down in nearly a face-plant, almost taking her down with me.
She had to help me limp home with road-rashed knees and one elbow.

For the sake of this site, I'll just say this happened in college.
I was studying and working on homework with this girl in my class and I asked her if she knew the magical bean song. She said no, so I recited it to her:
"Beans beans, the magical fruit, the more you eat, the more you..." And I just ripped a fart.
Understandably she said I was disgusting and went home.

Its like being instantly interested in what that person is saying or being totally invested in their conversation. You'd suddenly prioritize this person in your life, make your self available just to be in their presence. The thought of this person gets your heart racing a little bit and it always puts a smile on your face.
Butterflies in stomach, fumbling over words when I talk to them, counting down the minutes until I get to see them
Infatuation is short lived, fleeting in a sense, the person you are infatuated with is constantly in your thoughts for those moments, you have a bunch of "what if" scenarios that play out. Unanswered questions, maybe they get asked, maybe they don't because of fear of the answer, or rejection. Infatuation is a word I've actually used with someone on here before a long time ago, you want to learn all you can about that person, see if something could be real, or if it is truly just an online thing. How does it feel? I'm not great with feeling words, let me consult my emotion wheel... unreasoning desire. An intense feeling of deep affection. An urgency, intensity, sexual desire, anxiety, maybe even reckless abandonment of what was once valued. Perhaps even making choices you normally wouldn't make for that person...it is fantastic...and scary and I'd dive in head first again and again with the right person.
