I have been swooped on by one when I was grilling burgers at the beach, and the second time he swooped I grabbed one of his legs, and he instantly went limp playing dead, upside down with his wings open and drooping, so I thought he had a heart attack or something, so I felt so bad, I laid him down on the picnic table bench and as soon as I let go he jumped up and grabbed 2 of the cooked patties from the plate on the table and flew off! I got robbed!

Ugh you are not far wrong they nest on the roof of my house and for three years in a row the mother had it in for me, last year it was either a new mother or she decided to give me a break... It was very entertaining for the neighbours watching me duck and run to my front door
