I would love to if it was closer, they look stunning! The ones they call 'treehouse' accommodation near me are more like cottages among the trees, not properly in the trees. The more photos I'm seeing of places in the US, the more I'm feeling I need an extended holiday over there!

A little though not very bizarre, but definitely awesome. A former church, converted into a beautiful hotel. The graveyard was still there too. So beautifully done and peaceful, I loved it.

Best, like most luxurious? Probably the Whale Cove Inn, Depoe Bay, Oregon... 
But the best is probably when I was in Maracaibo staying with the local fishing tribe, they gave me my own floating shack with 3 walls and an open side facing the water so you could just lay there and watch the lightning as long as you wanted until you fell asleep. All you could eat breakfast and dinner, authentic venezuelan foods everyday!

I wish I could say I'm one of those people who loves to be one with nature in every sense of the word and just be ok with bare minimum, because I wish I was. But I'm not. That up there ^ - gimme that! Though I don't tend to enjoy hotels or catered resorts (AT ALL, I hate big resorts with lots of people). I prefer self catering, away from it all, but with a bath, just please, a bath, a comfy bed and a view.
