Just saying the question was x or y...there was no z...nor was the question about what you do in your relaxing time. If you don't want to answer the question, don't reply. Otherwise no one needs to answer the question asked...they can make up whatever they want. I'm not trying to be picky, but at the same time I guess I am.Is it in the rules??

I don't think that's correct.
Even if the choices are x and y, there is an implicit inclusion of z, whereby z = 0 = none.
If one was asked "do you walk or run to work?", one ought to have the liberty to say "no, I do neither".
However, I do see your point, btw. If it were a situation with no other option, e.g. "will you live or die?". The answer none or neither makes no sense.
