Since we're doing angel memes...how about a little artistic writing? :D

reaper woman moon 63.jpg

The reaper imposed himself upon his angel and embraced her with a comfort only death can give.
She stared deep into the empty space where there were no eyes, and spoke the words "I fear you not, for I am eternal. I have no life to be taken."
He replied with such cold indifference "Your courage is ill founded my love; for it is not your life I lust after, but your soul."

I really liked this. When you can give me a chill, you've written well. :)

From what I've read, the Grim Reaper first appeared in the 14th century during the bubonic plague (black death). There have been many other renditions in other cultures to my understanding, but that seems to be the first recorded instance. As stories go, he does not bring death out of malice, but simply out of fate.

Pssssstt (and taxes)

It doesn't really apply til life is at it's end tho.

Taxes get you right up until then (sometimes they still get you afterwards if the Tax Dept has good investigators)

I was getting ready to say taxes, but people lived thousands of years before taxes were imposed, and if you pass away before you work, you never pay taxes either. Some spend their entire lives on welfare too. As such, I can't say taxes are a guarantee lol.
