Call me old fashioned but whatever happened to the art of conversation? Flirting? Seduction?

Am I likely to want to cyber/sext/cam with someone who can only come out with "I'm horny babe" or "I'm SO wet" or "Let me lick that sweet pussy".

Erm...no to all of the above. I mean, you haven't even bought me a pint yet and you want to fuck me??

A ton of individuals see this chat site and forum as a way to only find a sexual partner. Nothing more, nothing more.

Regarding the quotes (lmao), some people just have no class. They expect you to agree with them and engage with... activities. But if you answer them with a simple , "No, you little shit!" They'll either beg or go away.

This must be the most common topic in the forum I think and I agree wholeheartedly. I will answer a 'hi', so many people don't answer PM's so send a 1 word greeting to see if the person is available to reply is acceptable. BUT, the second message better be interesting or I won't reply.

I have to agree. There is a certain skill involved when trying to bring out a certain emotion. I don't think of it as "Old fashion " as I'm more old school myself.. Just good manners and social skills.. The art of conversation.. Be it normal or Sext is lost with people trying to just jump in there or use the same old sayings they see others use.. Be creative, descriptive, get the others attention and keep it!.. But just my opinion..

I don't think it's a matter of being old fashioned. I'm not old fashioned, and yet, I require as much effort put into a conversation as you've described, especially the opening line. If someone thinks they can continue on after receiving a "hey babe, here's a pic of my dick," more power to 'em. Personally, I'ma go for the jugular after getting a pm like that. And some of the nuggets sending that crap are old fashioned.

I think it's simply common courtesy, manners, culture... the ones giving us a bad name don't help much either. It's a huge aspect of the site though, so you have to learn to expect it and deal with it how you see fit.

I know what you mean. Many people treat a forum as a chat, but a reply a day means a conversation could take a year to complete. :) Also, no offense intended.

I also know many spend the time in the forum and could have a conversation but conversely, many just log onto the forum, check the relevant posts, reply to their mail and log out till the next day/week/month and do it again.
 
None of the regs take guests seriously. They are just flotsam and jetsam, drifting past on the sea of dreams. Most could not turn on a light switch with out detailed instructions, let alone a woman. That being said, everyone has a reason to be here and none is right or wrong. I have higher standards than many and that does not make me right and them wrong or them right and me wrong. Its simply the diversity of the human race.

I beg to differ lakeside. I met my lady here, in fact she was the only 'regular' who at least bothered to say hello in chat. Not all guests are here merely for sex chat (indeed my own imagination probably far surpasses anything I would find typed on a screen), some just want conversation initially..which may or may not lead to more. Yes the guests that type the same old one liners over and over again can be annoying, but if all the 'regulars' ignored all the guests there would never be new blood injected into a room and that room would soon become stagnant. I entered politely, I said hello politely. I was lucky that the one lady who took me on has turned out to be someone I now chat with away from the site as well as on it.

And btw...my How you doin'? post was being ironic not trying to engage you in chatter.

I realised after I posted, I was assuming when I said 'none'. I shall be more attentive in future and avoid generalisations. :)
