Cam - only the selfie cam works?

Maybe someone's got an idea. One of the two Android phones I'm using will only let me use the selfie cam but not the other. If i try to switch the cam, I get a never ending waiting screen until I hit the back button. Permission is set, of course. I only can set permission for "cam" in general, not for each cam separately.

With my other android phone everything works flawlessly.

I get the exact same problem, no idea why, wish I could be of more help
