Can't log in under registered name only as a guest

Same issue starting again, I am using Firefox. When I log in through forums, I go through the steps to get to chat rooms, and the screen keeps refreshing. It will let me log in as a guest and no refreshing.

I cleared all history, etc. I manually typed in the site, tried different ways to log in.

Suggestions? Should I try another browser?
