Sushi is just vinegared rice. Sashimi is raw fish. Sushi rolls are various seafood and vegetable ingredients rolled up in sushi rice. Do I care for just rice seasoned with rice vinegar? No. Do I like sushi rolls? Yes. Do I like sashimi? I love it, but rarely eat it, because potential parasites. Ocean is just too far away for raw fish to stay fresh.
