No, I think most reality tv needs to be stopped. It's all scripted, there's nothing "real" about it, just people put into enforced and encouraged situations all for the idea of entertainment.

I have been recently on Netflix. Like the confessions of a killer with Dahmer, Ted Bundy.. they are actually really interesting.

It varies. Sometimes, I just keep it on the thing covering the radiator. Stupid ass bathroom layout. But, "under" has far less benefits than "over." I can't even think of any benefits with "under."
Edit: I always sleep with a ceiling fan on during warm seasons.
