Icebreaker Game Do you...?

I do. I believe that online, assuming both parties have been honest in conversations, people can be more direct and focused on interests/dislikes/things in common, and not worry about distractions around them, but I don't know that i can truly fall in love through online only, without knowing everything about them including things they do that they don't realize... Hopefully that makes sense...

Do you believe that looks aren't important in order to find love?

I'd love to say yes, because that seems the socially acceptable answer. But honestly physical attraction matters. That doesn't mean however that they need to look like Brad Pitt (I'd rather he didn't actually). I think I'll settle for not important, but a part of the equation.

Do you control technology or does technology control you?

Neither... I just spent 10 months without a phone, computer, TV, or lights for that matter, while my company continued to operate properly... The only technology I had was a small generator that I used to charge my tool batteries or to plug in a tool I needed... So it obviously doesn't rule me! But if I'm being completely honest, I'm not in control of it by any means either ...

Do you think you could go 10 months without phone, computer, TV, or lights?

Goodness no. My job requires a computer and a phone, for starters. And not sure how to live without them anymore, so sad  TV and lights can go though, probably even computer if it wasn't for work. But this damn mobile device...o_O

Do you have an appreciation for mother nature, sometimes just feeling in awe, in a way you don't see in the people around you?

Absolutely... Honestly, I can't stand people in general. As individuals, that's different. But in nature, everything is exactly the way it's meant to be, and if change is needed, nature will make that change all by itself. People most times don't realize when change is needed, and even if they do, they don't make the change unless they're given no other choice, or wait until someone else holds their hand through the change ...

Do you talk to your pets or animals, assuming you have any, like they're another person to talk to?

I talk to my pets and pretend they talk back. We have funny conversations and in my mind they think I am the best thing since sliced bread. I also name random wild animals I come across and sometimes imagine conversations between them. I'm odd *shrugs*

Do you have an emotional connection to your vehicle or any vehicle you've had previously?

Lmfao!!! I guess that's 2 of us, cuz I do the same shit! I have a group of deer that are here at least once a day to visit, all with names (and yes, Bambi is one of them), and the owl, and a family of skunks (yes, Flower is one of them).
They're all great listeners and the owl talks back even...

As far as a connection with my car, twice... My first car, I bought at 16, with money I earned because we were poor. It was a 94' Camaro Z28 T-top with a supercharged 427 7.0L, and a 6 speed transmission... And, 3 years ago, I bought my Jeep Trackhawk brand new. And we have a very good connection, not only do I have lots of room and seating, I can blow the doors off almost any car you can think of!

Do you ever take your vehicle to an open track day just to see what it can do?

Sounds familiar, though dreadfully jealous of both of those :) The first one I connected to was my moms car. Thing often wouldn't start, we talked to it like it was an animate object, hoping it (we said he) would start every time. A VW Golf type 2 in an awful green colour.

Thread:
I never have. I'm clumsy and I couldn't afford to replace it if I damaged it and too afraid I would. I guess I'm too cautious to do it with my own car. My brothers all raced though, bikes and cars and I always wish my dad had done it wuth me too.

Do you stop yourself doing things you'd probably enjoy, because a risk to reward comparison tells you it's not a great idea?

I don't not believe in the possibility of it. They say that's why some people are wise beyond their years, because they've lived and learned through more lifetimes than others...

Edit: All the time! I even mess with the owl sometimes...

Do you ever think that the reason your pets do certain things that make you laugh, because they like seeing you laugh?
