today at work i was told im not allowed to where my favorite shorts to work cuz they where too short oh and my shirt showed my tummy and i hand to change

this was me at work and i guess my shorts are too short and shirt shows to much tummy
 
what did you expect the answers to all agree with your views, the point of a forum is to get different views if you only wanted your own then don't ask the question live in your own world.
 
Pretty much it depends on what work you're doing.

Then it could be debatable if you could wear it or not.

But really if your boss says don't wear that outfit because it's too revealing or inappropriate for this workplace you're kinda forced to do that or find a new job.

Unless your boss was making you wear something that made you feel uncomfortable.

But I understand, at times I agree it is lame.

As for your outfit, it does look quite revealing of your lower half, your stomach you could get away with saying it was slightly too small xD

Needless to say, if I was working with you, I'd not complain xD
