The worst part about the current culture is that there is no room for discussion. All my life I've enjoyed having respectful back and forth convos with people from whom my views differed from theres. MOST time in those convos I walked away learning something. Reading this thread is just....sad. There is no nuance. There is no learning.

People on both sides, you are clicking on headlines that affirm and fuel your biases so companies can generate ad revenue. These people on high partisan news networks are interested in creating drama, not informing people.

If you want a concrete example to lift up the curtain on this one, just remember that Andrew Breitbart was one of the founding editors for the Huffington Post. Let that sink in...

The days you talk about are over . It doesn't even matter why . There is no middle ground and unfortunately that's how it will be for the time being. But it's not the fault of the media. They can say whatever they want , it's up to each individual to make there own choices. I don't dislike Tr.ump supporters because CNN says so . I dislike them because of what they represent. That will never change. And there is nothing to learn from them. Unless it's something negative. And sure they would say the same about me . Doesn't matter. The situation is what it is now isn't the time to dwell on what was. Now is the time for action.

Well I hope Bernie will win Presidency. Another four more years of Rudeman will do Us badly. Anyone seen the Planet of the Humans? It was a very touching documentary. I recommend watching it on YouTube like Earth 2100 also if you want to learn something.
 
I’m ready to move to another country. Looks to be another year of trying to decide which is the lesser of two evils.
Would love to see what he thinks about riding along with them into a critical incident without an armoured vehicle. :rolleyes: Also, fuck socialism.
 
Biden is about as far as you can get from being a socialist. There was even concern he would have a problem getting the Democratic Socialist wing of the party to back him he's been so middle of the road in the past . Also social security, Medicare, Medicaid the 40 hour work week and paid vacation were all conceived from socialist ideas. But they all have a place in our society. So the idea that the American government and society isn't somewhat socialist to a degree all ready is false .
