Eyes, lips, and beards

Haha! Thats what I love about photography, so many things need to happen at the exact same time and right time to get something amazing, it cant be replicated ever again in time except for that millisecond when it did, thats why when the perfect storm takes place it should be appreciated in my opinion.

The best photos happen when they werent supposed to, like the few seconds before and after people are posing with a smile, coz they arent focused posing and have let their face go back to how they normally do, but are still smiling just enough to not look like they are having a bad time wherever they are.
Alot of cameras will now take pics right before and right after the exposure happens to do just that thing for options in editing. Basically amazing photos happen when your just hanging out and being as random as you can be while remembering to take pics every now and then!

Oh soz, for clarification im a professional photographer, hence the rambling due to me doing lots of photoshoots during lockdown recently so its kinda stuck in my mind lately! Lol

I promise thats my last rant about stuff for the day now! :p

best pics of me are always taken with me unaware. ALWAYS. it catches a different kind of smile and sparkle. almost like a moving picture it captures things like charisma, that cute frown someone has sometimes, certain gestures.. the spirit. to me it is always so much more lively.

so much is lost when staging pictures. works best catching people while having a conversation.. i love to be in the moment but also love to catch my crew unaware sometimes. such beautiful people, impossible to do any of them just. but at least it gets close to capture a moments magic sometimes..

Yep I know exactly what you mean. I never stick to the industry outlines in either photography or film, just what is necessary really. Its all about the chemistry between the subject and the photographer. If they arent getting along, its written all over their face and when you look at it, you know its not a real smile, just the same as porn videos that have fake orgasms or fake moaning to sound like they are having fun, but in reality not at all.

Behind ths camera and in front of the camera should be all the same flow with no barriers to divide the 2. Especially if you have to get in awkward positions close to someone else to get the shot. I did a nude portfolio for someone recently it was her first and also my first one ever. We had a weird first day, but then took the weirdness away by just pretending little or no clothes was a normal thing for all involved. People would be surprised how quick you dont take any notice as everyone just does whatever makes them most comfortable at the time. It was nice weather when we had to go outside, so it was all fine and it came thru in the pics, happy and tasteful and no awkward looks in the eyes or anything.

Films are the same, work together and join one another in the process and bounce ideas off each other, nobody needs to be in charge of everyone except on paper really, just different jobs to do all for the same result! :)
