Not sure if this has been asked before but what are your all-time favorite routines by comics, whether it be live, HBO, or whatever? Also, are you a fan of the raunchy like Murphy and Rock or the more PG like Seinfeld? A few of mine include: Eddie Murphy-Raw Richard Pryor-Live on the Sunset Strip (1982) Chris Rock-Bigger & Blacker The Blue Collar Comedy Tour There's a few others that are memorable as well.
I know its about 100 years older than me but I can watch this 100 times and laugh every time. Ls x PS: I just watched it again and laughed yet again.
Well, I have a pretty long list! Best Comics: Keith Alberstadt, Sebastion Maniscalco, Jordan Schlansky(unintentional), Triumph the insult Comic Dog Demetri Martin Russel Peters Carlos Mencia Jerrod Carmichael Helen Hong Ari Shaffir Quoted from the highly intelligent Demetri Martin,"If my middle name were hypothetical, it would be awkward." ~ could be taken either of two ways. Also - "If I had to get a tattoo it would be quotation marks around my mouth."
Ari Shaffir Dave Chappele Katt Williams Joe Rogan (sometimes) Joey Diaz Eddie Griffin (Pure gold) Bernie Mac (R.I.P brotha) Lavell Crawford FLUFFFY! Chris tucker (old school ones) Richard Pryor
Ima Ricky Gervais girl too May have already been said, but his Humanity Netflix special was superb...
I love a lot of stand up comedy from the straight shows to the more elaborate Edinburgh Fringe style productions but I think the one that really stands out for me that had me rolling around on the floor was Dave Chapelle's Killin' them Softly From a different perspective and just to listen to comedians and their take on comedy though the show did have it's own flaws I really enjoyed The Green Room with Paul Provenza (you can catch most of the episodes on youtube)
Will throw a few Ausssie names into the mix : Carl Barron Lano and Woodley Celia Pacquola Troy Kinne Wil Anderson Kitty Flanagan Adam Hills Jim Jeffries
Anthony Jeselnick, Jim Norton, George Carlin, Fluffy, Louis C.K., Bill Burr, Ron White (and the other Blue Collar guys were good)
He’s absolutely amazing. More than his standup I enjoy the “Between the scenes” on the daily show. Brilliant. But my fav stand up comedian has to be Russell Peters.
