It used to be nice to be able to come in here and not worry about seeing people talking sex in the room guess I'll have to go to another site it's too bad there's a lot of nice people in there it only takes a few to ruin it

I have a feeling the sub line isn't quite suggestive enough..."silver surfer" might still attracted...well you know...
But a couple things...
1. Block buttons are really effective. By hiding content from users you find inappropriate, it is easier to just enjoy your part of the space.
2. Ignoring inappropriate people is soooooo much more powerful than telling them to "bugger off". All attention is positive attention (even attention that was intended to be negative)
3. Discussing openly about "how nice it is to talk about gardening" also helps people take a hint.
I'm finding rooms go through phases...don't worry...it will get good again

Also...perhaps a "break room" for people who want to get away from all the adult stuff... might be a thing (rather than a tacobar or rainbow lounge)

I have only been on the site and i enjoy the people i speak with but with the schlong pics and all the garbage being shown as smart people we know theres a room for that but no one listens the older regs tell me how it used to be and Maries works so hard to enforce the rules but she is alone some regs including myself and others get nasty at times and it works but theres a mod whose lame answer is "oh just block them " 'Block them" claiming were infringing on their rights well what about ours to. Many have left vowing not to return and i see ads for Mods but no one wants it a certain frequent visitor brings in people from other rooms to flood Mature with Pics initials TL this person instigates all the garbage. Please fix the room i love it here Im retired and with covid its a great to hang out talking and making friends Thank You

Yeah it really sucks when all the good people are starting to leave because of a Chosen Few turn to turn it into something that it's not well said red

I agree with everyone's comments. I have been coming in here close to two years now and have seen a decline in the room. I truely enjoy chatting with everyone but it is frustrating when people are constantly coming in rudely interrupting and posting porn pics.
