I read the first three when I was stationed in Germany in 90-92. When I got hime to the States I got the first 6 as a Christmas present and was so sucked in at that point, it became an obsession. It helped I had friends and family that were also reading them so I had to keep up to avoid spoilers...Wow, I'm in awe.
It's taken me 20 years just to get to book 6.
I will admit they get pushed aside for other books, I will have to prioritize them soon.

Delightful play on ever fairytale and fantacy.
Not to mention, the Gingerbread man as the sociopathic human hunter. And of course where there are bears...Goldilocks isn't hard to be found.
