Culinary Freya's baking thread

These are a few gifs on how to make the Indian Flat Bread!
1) Take a little dough ball, flatten it a bit, place it on the wooden plank and start to spread it with a rolling pin in a circular shape.

2) Once the dough ball is equally spread in all directions, transfer it to the heating pan

3) Cook this Roti/Indian Flat Bread by varying the heat of the stove and flipping it back and forth then once it's almost baked, transfer the roti onto direct flame by sliding the pan aside and let the roti inflate with steam to make it puffy and take it off to serve hot!

That's how you make an Indian Flat Bread (Roti)

These are a few Rotis I made for lunch:

We smear a bit of Ghee (fat made out of cow's/buffalo's milk) over the rotis for better digestion.
We have rotis with vegetable/non-veg curries or make a salad wrap or just plain rotis with peanut butter or jam smeared over them is also another option which is a great snack!
