Alot of the old chat users are vocal about the fact that they have to go through the trouble of readding their friends on the new chat platform. Could your developers come up with a solution?

It's already been noted many times that the list will link up once only new chat is in-service. That's when forum will be updated. It's not feasible at this time.

You can re-add your friends by clicking over to Friends list, clicking on + at the top, searching for the username, selecting the result and clicking on Add.
Friend list will sync up with followed users once only the new chat is in-service.
