Gardening Garden Stuff

@Stanthropical

With your knowledge of gardening, what plant are aphids attracted to the most?
Our Praying Mantis' have all hatched and I'd like to start feeding them aphids instead of fruit flies. They can't catch the fruit flies so they're eating each other ...and I'd rather not add to the fruit fly infestation lol

I think the softer and more sugary insides of plants are, the more likely aphids are to suck on their juices. Probably vegetable plants mostly. Grow some baby tomato and cucumber plants in the environment, maybe? Or something soft, leafy, quick growing.

I have plums, strawberries, grapes and raspberries but never had a problem with aphids. And have never wanted to attract them until now lol
Thank you! We'll try planting Cherry tomatoes.

I don't know whether a potential aphid infestation is a good situation to aim for. Aphids are devastating to plants. They literally suck the juices out of stems and leaves and plants.
