Gardening Garden Stuff

Peony, nasturtiums, red and yellow asiatic lily, red, yellow and pink miniature roses, dill, marigold, some other unidentified growth, weeds (grass (no clue how)) and I'm thinking about adding basil, oregano and cilantro. Does that make anyone uneasy? That's my pollinator draw.

"Hello, moon? Looking for vacancies soon."

Three+ types of sunflowers. I found last year that growing sunflowers among vegetables is a bad idea unless you have completely unrestricted direct sunlight all day. They create simply too much shade with foliage for the vegetables.

What's great about them is that all sorts of pollinators like to take refuge on them when it rains or even overnight on them. Last year, I had (what seemed to be) some tropical, very colorful migratory birds hanging out on the sunflowers (likely saw flowers from way above and took a layover). More benefit for the garden.

Everything visible here, in no particular order:

Bee balm, yellow pear cherry tomatoes, sun sugar yellow cherry tomatoes, sweet mint, spearmint, nasturtiums, mammoth dill, cilantro, basil, garlic, Swiss chard, owl, cucumbers, skeleton dog, bird bath so birds don't raid the fruit for water when the fruit are ripe (birds may also eat some annoying insects and other pests), some random flowers still in seedling form, fernleaf dill, oregano, weeds.

I try gardening every year. I'm not very good at it but I so enjoy it.
I love growing different types of peppers

You dont need to be "good" at. All you need is to prepare and keep supplementing your soil with organic matter, grow plants at appropriate spacing, give them some sort of physical support if necessary, prune them and supply consistent, adequate water. Once set up, all you need is to spend 10-15 minutes every other day. Maybe more on the weekends while weeding or tidying up.

Water delivery on a timer is very helpful. I couldn't do without it. It doesn't have to be fancy either.
