My one friend said they drive to lunch together because he saw them. When I asked her about it she didn’t deny it but said they’re work friends…

Is she still present in your relationship? Affectionate, attentive?
If any of those are off, its time to talk about boundaries and status.

I wouldn't say that there are red flags... but caution is never a wrong attribute in these cases...
