I love all the 80s type horror movies. I would say I love Freddy K movies the most but I also like shows on the food network for Halloween because people are so talented. I enjoy watching American Horror Story during this time of year as well. I love horror movies in general though.

Robert Englund was great in those movies. I have not checked out those you spoke of at the Food Network, but have found some great holiday recipes there. Watching a scary movie with that special someone by your side is the best! Horror is good, because it is part fantasy and part humor, but can be, if done well, great entertainment.

I'd definitely have to go with most all the Friday the 13th movies as my favorite. Jason Voorhees is one of my favorite movie slashers. But for good bloody tv I'd suggest the series Blood Drive. It's super fun post apocalyptic show. A bit much, but what good show isn't?!

The Halloween series for sure and Dario Argento's collection (since I'm Italian) , and even if it's not a scary movie, Nightmare Before Christmas!

Nightmare is a Christmas movie, but love it!

Gremlins is also a great Christmas film.
