I fed fluo dye (no syringe) to my fish. They poo'ed fluopoo. Glowed at night at the bottom of the fish tank and looked like tiny fallen stars.

Lol... that's pretty cool actually. I'm guessing the fish were fine.

I was once on a ship at sea and saw the ships wake glowing like a long trail, from the bioluminescent plankton (I guess).

Very cool. I haven't been on a ship at sea, just rivers and lakes. I'm not sure if it is an occurrence on such water bodies though. Because of salinity, maybe?
It is an amazing sight I am sure. The video itself is. There's also bioluminescent algae and glow worms. I'll find some links for later.

About the fluo dye - it was from my knowledge of its use as protein / gene markers in rats.
